India's First State-led Nodal Organization for Women Entrepreneurs
Incubator · Hyderabad · Healthcare & Life Sciences, Climate & Energy, Software, Consumer · Pre-Seed, Seed
WE Hub is a Government of Telangana body that describes itself as India's first state-led nodal organisation for women entrepreneurs, working with women-led start-ups, small and medium businesses and students. It runs pre-incubation, incubation and acceleration programmes across two verticals: Social Impact Entrepreneurship for women from Tier 2 and Tier 3 Telangana, SHGs, minority communities, people with disabilities and transwomen, and Urban Innovation for tech start-ups from idea to growth stage, with two programmes co-designed with Wadhwani Foundation. The common condition across programmes is a woman holding at least 51% of the enterprise, and support centres on mentoring, market access, credit linkage and investor connects rather than direct investment. The home page lists 193 under funds raised by incubatees, with no currency unit shown, and 10000 start-ups and SMEs incubated.
