'Start to Scale' support for technology startups at IIT Bombay

SINE is IIT Bombay's broad spectrum technology business incubator, offering 'Start to Scale' support to turn research and ideas into ventures. It takes in IP-based, product-focused technology startups, including academic spin-offs and founders from outside IIT Bombay, for up to three years of physical or virtual incubation, and is sector agnostic across deeptech, healthcare, spacetech, energy, AI/ML and social impact. Support combines infrastructure and labs, mentoring, SINE's own seed funding (up to INR 200 lakh by equity or equity-linked instruments), government grant and seed schemes it implements for DST, MeitY, BIRAC, iDEX and SIDBI, CSR-funded grant programmes, the SINE ACE deeptech accelerator and the Y-Point VC fund for deeptech ventures from pre-seed to early Series A. The site states 550+ startups supported overall, 325+ incubated, 320+ IPs generated and Rs 9,270 Cr raised by SINE startups.
