About

IKP Knowledge Park is a not-for-profit science park and incubator that began in 1999 as India's first life sciences park in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, and now runs a 200-acre park there plus the IKP EDEN maker space in Bengaluru. It takes in startups, SMEs and researchers in biopharma and biotech, agri and agri-tech, healthtech and devices, and engineering and hardware, and moves them from lab to market through wet-lab and prototyping infrastructure, analytical, IP, regulatory and biomanufacturing services, and grant programmes it implements for BIRAC, DST, DBT and foundations. It also makes seed investments of INR 2 million to 10 million in partnership with government agencies and other entities, and its 2026 Genesis and ARK programmes put equity capital behind deep-science companies at TRL 2 to 3 and TRL 3 plus. Its stated mission is to advance deep tech and co-create solutions for tomorrow in health and plant systems.
